Maryland

Maryland plates are one of two options. 

Option 1 is the Loudoun Professional Plates.  This is an organizational plate specific to LCFFA.  This plate has a form that will require the authorized signature for the member to either send the plate in, or appear in Glen Burnie MD in person to obtain plated.  (Form)

Option 2 is the standard Maryland Professional Tag.  The Tag approval for a state plate is outlined in the attachment labeled MDTag Applicant.  Montgomery County Career Firefighters Association L1664 handles the administration of the plates. This option requires a letter from IAFF Local3756 on letter head indicating the member is in good standing.  The member has to submit the information to L1664, along with $5.00,  then the secretary will send the paperwork back to the member.  (Form)

Virginia

Requirements: must provide copy of current International Association Of Firefighter (IAF) membership card with the firefighter, professional firefighter, rescue squad license plates - vehicle registration application (Form VSA-124)

West Virginia

The West Virginia Professional Fire Fighters now welcomes IAFF Members who live in West Virginia and work in other states the opportunity to participate in our license plate program.  IAFF Members in good standing with their local may be eligible to become PFFWV Associate Members.  For a per-capita fee of $25.00 annually, as an associate member, you may display a PFFWV license plate.  You are also entitled to attend the annual PFFWV convention as a registered guest.  As an associate member you will not have a voice or be entitled to vote while attending the convention.   

To apply for the PFFWV License Plate you may log onto WWW.PFFWV.ORG.  Once on the web page click on license plate application form (or see forms below). Plate fees are also available with the form.  Send the completed associate membership application form, a license plate application signed by you and an officer in your local, per-capita and license plate fee, to the PFFWV.

Two attachments are required, the first is joining PFFWV as an associatie member, the second is the actual DMV plate request.
