PFF License Plates
VIRGINIA
Requirements: Provide a copy of your current International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) membership card and fill out Form VSA-124. You must submit the application and accompanying documents in person at the DMV to obtain a VA PFF license plate.
MARYLAND
Maryland plates are obtained through one of two options depending on what license plate you want:
Option 1:
To obtain a Loudoun Professional Fire Fighter license plate, you must complete this form that will require the authorized signature from the union for the member to either mail the plate in or appear in Glen Burnie, MD to obtain the license plates.
Option 2:
To obtain a standard Maryland Professional Fire Fighter Tag, see instructions here. The Montgomery County Career Firefighters Association L1664 handles the administration of the plates. This requires a letter from IAFF Local 3756 on the letterhead indicating the member is in good standing and the member must submit this to L1664, along with $5.00. Once approved, the L1664 Secretary will send the completed paperwork to the member.
WEST VIRGINIA
To obtain a license plate from West Virginia, members in good standing may be eligible to become a PFFWV Associate Member. There is a $25.00 annual fee to be an associate member. You are also entitled to attend the annual PFFWV convention as a registered guest. As an associate member you will not have a voice or be entitled to vote while attending the convention.
